Dr. Kunjufu is the founder of African American Images, Inc. The company publishes and distributes books of an Africentric nature that promote self-esteem, collective values, liberation, and skill development. He developed SETCLAE, (Self-Esteem Through Culture Leads to Academic Development), an Africentric multicultural curriculum designed for today's youth. It’s a model curriculum that helps educators and parents teach their children the positive aspects of their cultural heritage and simultaneously increase their self-esteem and desire to excel. Dr. Kunjufu also provides workshops for parents, teachers and students. He has written approximately 30 books. He received his doctorate from the Union Graduate School.
