Welcome to the ABCC

The Association for Black Culture Centers (ABCC) is an organization that seeks to celebrate, promote and critically examine the culture of people of African descent, through the institutionalizing of Black and Multiculture Centers to enhance individual, community and global development.

The ABCC supports the work of culture centers through student and professional development, cultural relevant program assistance, curricular and co-curricular enrichment, community outreach
and engagement, scholarship on culture centers and advocacy. Learn more

2009 Conference

Cleveland State University will co-host the 19th ABCC conference. It takes place November 5-8, 2009. The theme is "Centers and Negotiations of Cultural Politics of a Black Presidency." Register

The ABCC includes more than 700 members and affiliates in all fifty states, the Caribbean, and West Africa. The ABCC offers Institutional, Professional, and Student membership options.
