Committee Charge

Review all relevant materials relating to tuition, including guidance that will come from the UNC Board of Governors and General Administration.

  1. Review the previous recommendation for a 6.5% tuition increase for the 09-10 academic year and formulate recommendations for changes in the level of increase and for allocation of the additional funds that might be generated.
  2. Consider if the university has an exceptional need for tuition increases above the 6.5% limit (exceptions may be allowed for compelling reasons).
