Intellectual Property Committee

Committee Charge

The Intellectual Property Committee is responsible for determining whether intellectual property developed through University activities is covered by University Policies and for recommending appropriate actions under those Policies. The committee is established pursuant to the Patent and Copyright Policies adopted by the Board of Governors and should operate in a manner consistent with the North Carolina State University Patent Procedures adopted by the Board of Trustees. The responsibilities of the committee are set out in those documents.
