Administrative Advisory Committee on Academic Departments
Members:
One Department Head Representative from each of ten colleges. This group also serves as the Steering Committee of the Organization of Academic Department Heads. Chair is elected every two years by Administrative Advisory Committee members.
Charge:
Provide advice to Provost on all aspects of academic department operations from the Heads’ perspective. The Provost may also request input on issues as needed.
The Committee will meet regularly through the academic year as scheduled by the Chair. The Committee will meet once each semester with the Provost as scheduled by the Chair in consultation with the Provost’s Executive Assistant. The Provost also meets with the Organization of Academic Department Heads. For Administrative Advisory Committee and Organization meetings, the Chair is to provide a meeting agenda one week prior to the meeting.
